Sons of Light platform for the Coptic Orthodox Church originated in 2018 with the vision of serving as a digital tool for Sunday schools, a concept that was officially introduced during the commemoration of the centenary of Habib Gerges' Sunday Schools in the same year.

Positioned as a forward-looking solution for Sunday Schools over the next century, the Sons of Light platform aims to streamline educational services, particularly within the context of Sunday schools. It boasts a variety of essential features catering to the needs of church servants, encompassing functionalities for managing attendance, lesson planning, interactive engagements, and educational resources.

Key highlights of the program include:

• Empowering teachers to craft lessons, build visual aids, assign tasks, and incorporate interactive content while facilitating attendance tracking and student encouragement through a points system.
• Enabling students to revisit lessons, engage with visual aids, complete assigned tasks, and monitor their spiritual progress, fostering a sense of healthy competition through point-based initiatives and peer interaction.
• Providing service administrators, clergy members, and even higher authorities such as bishops and the Pope with access to insightful reports for effective monitoring and decision-making processes.
